OECD Real Effective Exchange Rate (Index (2015=100))

The OECD real effective exchange rate is an indicator showing the real-based exchange rate level calculated as a weighted average of multiple currencies. Higher values indicate stronger currency, while lower values indicate weaker currency. Countries ranking at the top of the index have relatively declined international competitiveness, while those at the bottom tend to have higher competitiveness. Advanced countries with continued current account surpluses and strong export competitiveness typically rank at the bottom, while countries experiencing inflation or running current account deficits often rank at the top. This indicator reflects each country's price competitiveness and economic position.
